Christopher Ravey

BSc Geology, MSc Engineering Geology, FGS, CGeol

Chris established Ravey Consulting Ltd. in 2001 following ten years working as an engineering geologist for major multi-disciplinary consultancies both in the UK and overseas. He is a Chartered Geologist with a broad experience of ground engineering projects including major transportation, construction and ground excavation projects. Chris has specialised in rock engineering, particularly the implementation of tactile rock slope stability assessments, remedial works design and construction supervision. He holds an industrial rope access (IRATA) Level 3 Supervisor certificate and a PTS (Personal Track Safety) certificate for rail work.


Richard Passe

BEng Civil Engineering, PgD River Basin Management

Richard is a qualified Civil Engineer with a specialism in River Basin Management. Since joining Ravey Consulting Ltd. as an Assistant Design Engineer, Richard has been involved with site surveys and has been responsible for compiling drawings and design documents for a number of rail rock slope stabilisation projects. He is proficient at AutoCAD drafting and also has experience in computer/mathematical modelling.
